Mud Downtime -- Recent Issue With FrostMUD

Well, I'm not sure what's going on as of yet, but. The FrostMUD Server, which is the Hosting Server for the Mud is currently down. Now, I know most of you people already know, Matt, owner of FrostMUD is homeless. So I'm guessing he found a home and is having ther server transferred from his friends house to his. So, we'll see what's up in a few days. Peace. Please, post any comments to this.

Ladies and Gentlemen, hello once again. Life has been hectic for me lately, and I have experienced homelessness, poverty, and exhaustion. At long last though. FrostMUD.Com has reached it's final running location at my new office. The server is now back online, but the IP address is currently dynamic. In 72 hours, the IP address will change to a static IP address, but will not be the one you all are used to. Once those 72 hours have passed, I will be powercycling the system and updating the DNS entires for the server, which may knock it offline for up to one more day. Don't worry about your games though. The server will not be shutting down, so your processes will continue to run and will be accessible once the IP address has updated fully. Right now, the server is accessible, so you may continue working on your games and playing them. But like I said before, the IP address will be changing in 72 hours to it's permenant IP, so please update your DNS entires and MUD entires accordingly.

In the meantime folks, it has taken me every last dollar that I have to get into this new place, and to get the connection set up and transferred. The connection has been upgraded from 3MB/384kbps to 6MB/512Kbps so you will notice a plesant change in upload and download speeds. Send those donation folks! I need them badly to recover. A few users are exempt from this request (merries59, xlstudios, thornan) but the rest of you need to help out a little!
